With its headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya, FieldPath Research is a registered consultancy firm that specializes in large-scale surveys, market research, data analysis, Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Reporting, third-party monitoring, quality control, and Environmental and Social Impact Assessment.

Registered in 2015, FieldPath Research is a multidisciplinary consultancy firm Reg. No PVT-BEU339R that brings together a group of competent consultants who come on board with different expertise, knowledge and skills to work on baseline studies, impact evaluations, market studies and third-party monitoring.

Research is a key component of our work and an avenue through which we seek to provide evidence-based practice. We engage in people-centered research and develop recommendations that catalyze sustainable development in programs while drawing on extensive expertise and networks from the different regions of Africa.

Founded to help organizations navigate complex challenges, we turn data into actionable insights and empower decision-makers across Africa with research that informs strategy, policy, and measurable impact.

Our staff includes experienced researchers, field supervisors, data analysts and enumerators who undergo regular refresher trainings to stay current with methodologies, tools and ethical standards.

Our research leads are members of the European Society for Opinion and Market Research and are bound by the worldwide code for research practitioners.

Experience in Asia and the African continent

FieldPath is a regional firm with local contextual access in Kenya, South Sudan, Rwanda, and Bangladesh.

Field operations are conducted in these countries while design and analysis are centralized in Nairobi, Kenya, with satellite offices in Rwanda, and Yemen.

Proficiency in digital data collection and analysis tools

We utilize CAPI methods in quantitative research using laptops and smartphones. We are conversant with Survey CTO, Open Data Kit, ONA and AkvoFlow.

Quantitative analysis is done through Excel, SPSS and R Programming, while qualitative analysis is done through NVIVO and ATLAS.ti.

Data security

Our data protection measures are guided by in-house Standard Operating Procedures emphasizing confidentiality, multiple-step access verification, password protection, encryption during transmission, archiving, storage and retrieval.

Data quality control systems

We ensure data quality from start to end using the six pillars of data quality: accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, validity and uniqueness.

Our online and face-to-face data collection processes include automatic and manual quality control checks.

Ethical considerations

We adhere to ethical principles including participant safety, non-discriminatory participation, anonymity, confidentiality and informed consent.
